A CRUCIGRAMISTA | INVERTED AMERICA is a TV series created by Paula Parisot and Jessica Mitrani for ARTE1 (2017) dedicated in its first season to the art and culture of Latin America.
The 7-minute episodes that make up this first season use an interdisciplinary vision between visual arts, literature and cinema through the thought and work of historical and contemporary figures, thus providing an intense and polemic panorama of the past and present of Latin American culture. With the contributions and evocation of artists such as Doris Salcedo and Frida Kahlo, the directors Alejandro Jodorowsky or Glauber Rocha and the curators and critics Carla Stellweg, Andrea Giunta and Pablo Léon de la Barra, among many others, essential personalities in the affirmation of Latin American art and culture

A CRUCIGRAMISTA | FEMINIZED AMERICA is a TV series created by Paula Parisot and Jessica Mitrani commissioned by ARTE1 (2019). The project deals with themes related to creativity and feminisms from Latin America. Feminized America implies giving a continent a female character. The feminine is an attribute that has been devalued and associated with the weak, subdued, exploited. We chose the term feminized to give value to the feminine principle as a fundamental quality, emphasizing that recognizing and activating the feminine in each of us is the path to survival of all individuals and the planet.
The 7 videos were structured from fundamental archetypes for the construction of the feminine: virgin, mother, muse, queen, visionary, weaver and self.
