Projections occupy the city’s architecture as a gesture of warning and remembrance, bringing to the surface the urgency of confronting gender-based violence within the context of the exhibition Geometry of Memory at the Museu de Arte de Brasília, 2026.
The intervention, carried out in the streets of Brasília in collaboration with Coletivo Transverso, inscribes word and image into public space as a form of urgency and denunciation. The projections traverse the city and its monuments, unsettling the apparent stability of modernist architecture with messages that evoke the alarming scale of gender-based violence in Brazil.
Presented within the framework of Geometry of Memory at the Museu de Arte de Brasília, the intervention expands the exhibition field: from the museum space to the public sphere, from contemplation to direct experience. By illuminating the city’s surfaces with phrases and signs of alert, the intervention transforms the night into a territory of visibility, calling on the public to recognize, remember, and act.
